I would suggest that you apply in person at a bank, but if you feel the need to apply with the form that they sent you via mail, I would suggest calling to verify that it is ok to put your ITIN number.

I just got mine a few weeks ago. I used my ITIN too. I applied for the pre-approved card they sent in the mail and had no problems.

Annual fee is like $100 for the card I have. They don't really specify a credit limit. There's a section on the website, though, that allows you to check whether or not an X amount purchase could be made. But one thing you should keep in mind is that it's not really like a regular credit card. They expect you to pay off the card in full every month. Or at least that's what I've gathered from the information I found online.

Hey, did you apply online or did you send your application in the mail? I got pre-approved for both the green and gold cards, but I applied online and they cancelled my application because they couldn't find any records of my "SSN," which is weird since I already have a Capital One card with my ITIN. Besides, if they sent me the pre-approved card, then obviously there are records of my ITIN. I wonder if I should send another application in the mail.

I got a Visa Capital One credit card with my ITIN. I have no anual fee. They start you off with a small credit limit but if you make your payments on time and don't go over your limit they periodically increase you limit. Also, after like a year you can call them and bargain with them to lower your APR. And they do report to the credit bureaus so if you ever do get a SS they'll rollover your credit history so don't mess it up!

I was just wondering what you guys put on your employment status if you are using an ITIN because we know that we cannot use that for employment. I tried applying for a Bank of America credit card online but don't know if it's safe to fill up the employment section
