Maybe Its a Dream
0 AP
I was born in Mexico.
Been in the U.S since 5
Will graduate High School this year, I have a lot of aunts an cousins in Mexico to prove family ties. My parents can show a large sum of money in the bank. Though the bank would be in the United States.

Can someone please give me some advice.

Apply to Canadian Universities. Hopefully get accepted. Now, I don't know if you have to apply for a canadian visa in Mexico or you can do it in the US, it's something I am trying to find out myself. Also, when applying as an international student, you have to put that you are under the american education system but put you're a citizen of Mexico.

Now, do you have some ties that will prove that you would want to go back to Mexico? That's something I am trying to establish as well. They do have a temporary resident thing where you can stay and work unrestricted for 3 years and you can use that time to qualify for a permanent resident visa under a different category (skilled worker, marriage, etc.) which can help. I don't know if mentioning that you are interested in the 3 years after college will help your application or hurt you, it's something I am trying to figure out myself.
