Just a quick question. How old does your spouse or husband have to be in order for them to sponsor you in order for one to change ones status. Does he or she have to be 21 or 18 or does it vary by state. I just want to know how old he or she has to be in order to sponsor his or her husband/wife

yea i think for those younger than 18 state laws vary regarding marriage, an adult might be needed.. and i am not to sure if they can petition but most likely can; but if the person is over 18 and US citizen then they can file for you after marriage

Talk to a lawyer. Also, remember -- anyone who petitions for you must make a certain amount of money - and they check to make sure that they do.

Immigrate2us.net is the forum for adjustment of status through marriage (bona fide!)
