Disgusted!!!

Although im very against starting a riot on DAP i think its necessary for me to vent and for ALL of you to listen!!


first of all we all know the new DA is not perfect im heart broken and upset that many of our founding father dreamers will not be included, especially since we are at this point because of many of them...i thank and appreciate all u have done!!


second of all, where in the f*** do a lot of u people get the nerve to tell the older dreamers why at their age they havent gotten legalized??? how dare u guys question another persons life especially ur elders who put us in this amazing position for DA to pass!!! while most of u bugger, pimpled faced dreamers were still playing on the jungle gyms our elder dreamers were lobbying and fighting with less of a support than now!

im urging that if u dont have anything positive to say about our elder dreamers keep it to urself...what a slap to the face they must feel when they come onto DAP and all they see are little punks disrespecting their age and hard work!!! so stop....lets put all of our efforts into DA now so when it passes we can fight ten times harder for the rest of our brothers and sisters who are undocumented!!!

Don't think for a moment that 30+ year olds are the only ones who have been fighting hard for this to pass. I'm 22 and have been fighting for years, and it pisses me off when some of the older DREAMers think they hold some monopoly over the DREAM. It seems that a whole generation is taking credit for something we have all been working hard towards. Now some of them, like DA User, want the DREAM to fail just because they aren't included anymore, and you call us selfish?

I'm not going to let my years of hard work go down the drain just because some people have been excluded. Remember that the longer it takes for DREAM to pass, the more DREAMers will be disqualified.

I agree with you. But, if you notice, the people who are disrespectful (in the manner which you described) are in the minority.

The reason why I am disrespectful to him is that he wants the dream act to FAIL (just read some of his post).

I get it, it is very sad that the 30- 34 age group disqualify, but what else can we do? I mean if the DA fails this year, no doubt that the age cap will go lower and more people will disqualify.

All I can say for the 30+ dreamers; helps us to pass the DA and wait for the CIR in 10 years or move out this country (not to be disrespectful, but I just want you guys to live/enjoy your life)

well i can't imagine how it is to fight for something for so long, and at the last minute have it taken from you and not from others. The feelings must be overwhelming for dreamers in that category. I honestly don't know if any words can bring comfort to them. So even though they may show anger and frustration, we should not shun them or pass judgement on them, for we don't know what a painful thing it must be. what i'm basically trying to say is "i'm sorry" if I had posted negative feedback to these guys.

Calm down, none of us are getting legalized. Now do you feel better?
