Lets play pretend. Let us suppose that you were a US citizen and a Dreamer asked you to marry him/her for legal status. What would you want? What would you ask for in return? Be reasonable, don't ask for impossible things (like a million dollars, etc). Many people get married for legal status all the time.

Since I am a guy, I am particularly interested in knowing what the ladies would ask for. However, guys should also contribute to the discussion.

As far as what would I ask for? Well, if your offering to help than I don't think you should or can ask for anything (at least I wouldn't). Of course since we would have to live together to make it believable, he would have to pay his share of all the household expenses.

Wait, now that I think about it.... I would ask him to cook, all the time. I HATE COOKING!
Of course I do not mind paying for all the household bills and rent. Plus, I could give her a portion of my income. That way she would have a life of leisure (free rent and spending cash) without working.

LoL, I also do not mind learning how to cook. That would be the least of my worries compared to being illegal.

I wouldn't pay a single thing for marriage. I think whoever marries me should do it for free... or pay me even if I'm a DREAMer

How old does the US citizen need to be to be able for the dreamer to get legal status ? 18 or 21 ?
