Of course, you can't. Ban means ban. In fact, you may not even be able to come after 10 years if they have a record of your immigration file, unless you are like Albert Einstein or someone so important to the US. You may apply after 10 years but most likely they will reject you if they find out you stayed here illegally

I don't know if you crossed the border because you would not have immigration document, so you might have better chance than most of us who came with visa, like me.

it may be hard to sneak out now these days. In the past, patrols checked only people coming into the US. Now both ways.

Because people tell me that border patrol checks people thoroughly who leave out too these days.

Ok, so I have this crazy plan B. My family's petition is finally here, but the only problem is that I need to go back to my home country for the interviews. I am planning to sneak out of US and pretend that I never came here illegally before. I know this is very risking.

If it were that easy I think more people would do it this way.

That is incorrect. They are still understaffed, and only check both ways at certain locations

There's a document you can file to USCIS that says that you can't part ways with whoever petitions for you, that can waive the 10 year ban. "Extreme hardship waiver." You have to prove using documentation that you can't part ways either because of a handicap the person has, or whatever a lawyer deems sufficient.

You can't just say you're tight knit, it has to be a documented fact.
