The truth is not all go lucky sometimes. My humble perspective is that I, we, if you so choose to, have to come to terms with the fact that the "hate & anti groups" are stronger and more mobilized than us. That said, as far as I can see, it appears CIR/D.A. will prop be up again in 2012. However do not think you can rest, keep active, express your views, join marches, monologues, etc, don't for a second think that 2012 within itself is going to hand you a green card, just because it is "time"; you/we are going to fight really hard throughout every step of this, persistence dreamers, chins up, determination and your willingness to strive for what you belief is rightfully yours will prevail but not without you acting .

Agreed there is a thread about a rally in washington, a trhead about making moe websites, I'm planning on talking to some community leaders to support us financialy to make a mass movement to 2012. We need your help, we need dreamers with attitude, with leadership skills, we need dreamers like you to make this happen! What are you willing to do to make this happen?

^^^ am a native, of Nor Cal, except not born obviously, we have formed a coalition in the area whom we consult and strategize for our cause. My humble suggestion, this movement has to be built from the bottom up , across grass roots campaigns "singing" and "geling" the same "tune" across the 50 states will succeed. dreamers continue doing your part, fight for what is yours !!!

I concur with everything you said. Let's not give up now. I know many of us dreamers have been discouraged after the bill failed in the senate. But its not the end of the world, we can still do something about it. This also goes to all those dreamers who may not be qualified for a possible future enactment of this bill.

2011 looks bleak, yet I'm somehow hopeful for it.

Crazy thought? Perhaps, but it's a much better place than persistent negativity and unending criticism.

Politics, I mentioned this before, we studied a bit, not alot, regarding the legislative process in the U.S. That said, it is my belief next time this comes up it will be the whole package, CIR, fight for yourself and your family, as I said since the beginning this will not be handed to you on a silver platter! it is imperative you do not think that, you can take a break, the anti's are stronger than ever, only your persistence, your will to continue will beat them, at the end it will benefit your family and you .

First of all, I just want to express my appreciation for all your efforts to initiate productive threads that lead to action calls and other activities. You've been around as long as I can remember and it's good to see some persistence (then again that's really our moto as dreamers, persistence)

It will be our time sooner or later, and I have naive hopes for a change even before the next election. 2 years is a long time.

Who knows maybe the GOP will consider another 245i extension or streamlining the existing petition process, to recooperate the minority votes. Though something like that only helps some, not all of us. Even the goddamn republicans can swallow that, then again, you never know.

Second, if any of you mods are reading this, you guys really need to FREEZE all new user registration process immediately (if you haven't already). Anti immigrant users are signing up left and right to dissuade, and to be more blunt, basically fucking around with the not so bright users on here.

They range from the obvious one liners, to the more distasteful "Let's all go back to our country/deport our selves" threads. While they're all having a good time in their trailer parks, I'm afraid the less experience users here will consume more than they should.

Dado you have yourself a good holiday season and we'll get back at it again.

I agree that we should definitely keep fighting the good fight!

I've mention this on other threads before, IF approximately 2.1 million would benefit from Dream Act. WHERE the heck are at least HALF of them?! We should we getting 500,000+ views on multiple threads that are made here.

If 2.1 million would truly benefit from the DA. We NEED to FIND and get them involved! Enough with the small groups around each states, we NEED to unite now more than ever and truly make some noise!

You are right Dado, who said this fight it gonna be a easy one, Do you really think with just passing couple of flyers, make some call and post some comments it gonna be done??? No what we are talking here is not just our future but the future of our people, think for a moment in people like Cesar Chavez, and Luther King, they pass for this and difficult times, We are not asking everybody need to sacrifice the same way , but we need to understand that our people need us, the kids that have 10,11,12,13 years old need us..... our kids need us.
