Why is no one stopping them?

No one bothers Americans crossing the Rio Grande into Mexico. They even look like they are having fun:

Honestly? Because there is not an influx of hundreds of thousands of Americans crossing the Rio Grande into Mexico.

Oh silly, but there are. They just happen to be old, white, with money, and do it in their cars.

Lets not be silly here, There is absolutely nothing wrong with rich white Americans wanting to go to Mexico let them spend their money.

But in the picture I put up, they are swimming across and flapping around like kids in a pool. Not a cop soldier or border patrol in sight

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, my point was there are Americans going into Mexico.
They weren't acting suspicious would be my best guess. Large group of white, mid 20's, american appearing adults in the middle of the day taking pictures. We don't know if a cop or border patrol showed up at any time though. Although I'm sure they would have posted a picture of that too.

Travel Pod is one of my favorite sites. These guys are tourists who crossed a river then came back over to the American side. According to their travel blog they spent a few minutes in Mexico. Why are people bringing race and nationality into this? You can do the same at Falcon Lake and various canoeing rivers along the Texas-Mexico border. Race doesn't matter in these cases, my Chicano and White friends have done the same thing - no border patrol agents etc. The red,white, and blue flag on their page is a Union Jack, not an American flag. Racism exists in every country, but you have to think things through before you play the race card.

Because they are not doing it to stay and live forever in Mexico. They are playing around in the river.
