So now we know that the DA didnt pass, we cried, we got angry etc. We need to start thinking and doing things to keep on moving on and progressing. I want to know, what are some of the things you guys want to be able to do, realistically, while living undocumented?

some obvious ones are
-getting a license
- getting a job
-going to school

I want to get a list going AND also solutions to those WANTS.

example: for the license, you can go to other states to get it, for a job you can work random jobs, etc

something that people can go to and get some value out of it and also contribute to the "solutions"

I'm currently in Idaho and there's no prospective for me here. Plan is to move to WA and get a license/car insurrance. Look for some janitorial work, or dish washing position.

Same here, I'm in the middle of looking and calling landlords so I can rent an apartment over there or trying to find a friend of a friend that I can stay with for a while till I get my license. Perhaps even find a school and stay there because there doesn't seem to be any point in coming back.

Being able to afford school through loans/scholarships. That's all I want.

All I want is to be able to pay off what I owe my university and be able to transfer out of state. It means leaving my mother (also undocumented), but she's encouraging me to do it even though I don't want to leave. I'll be 25 this year and I have got to finish this damn degree even if it kills me.

If you're in Texas,

License:

Ohio sounds like the best alternative, but I'd definitely try Washington

Job:
Craigslist search "pay cash", or just go to random restaurants and tell them you are attending to a university with a student visa but you are currently in the need of a job to maintain yourself.

Education:
Google: HB 1403 and Sb 1528, in state tuition and grants for our kind.
Apply for private scholarships

I'm in my third year of a bachelor in accounting but I have been studying html, php, C, C++ and other programming and web languages on my own. I am also learning French, just in case haha.
They are out there on the internet, for free. You just gotta know where to look.

Go into the military get a skill become a citizen faster and have your education paid for. I am a citizen but the GI bill from my service is paying all my education.
