I entered using the documents of someone else. They weren't fake, they were genuine, I just wasn't the guy who the birth certificate belonged to lol.

I heard that when you try to apply for any visa (if you leave and have no ban) or if we get legalization and the federal government finds out (ICE?), we'll get a permanent ban. Is this true?

You weren't inspected as Eddy Whateveryourrealname is, you were inspected as Eddy Whoeverthatguyisonthebirthcertificate. So technically...you aren't an EWI, but a fraudulent entry according to this dude: http://www.citymasala.com/July2010/Immigration.pdf

Thanks for the links. I didn't even know how I came to this country until last year, as my parents are so secretive about it and tell me a different story every time. I actually demanded answers last time out of frustration. I read on the immigration board that fraudulent entry is punishable with a ban. But I also said that I don't have the papers I came here with, as I was brought here by my dad's friend who had a "business" getting people into this country. He died in 1999.

And I don't understand why my parents couldn't get the papers I came here with as they would be a lot of help. I was told that I would be put into the "EWI" section since i don't have the papers that I came here with. But I think one answer would be that I came here with this woman. I remember she told me not to say anything and she pretended to be my mother. I wonder if she came here with the correct identification. And if she knows more about my case.

Yes fraudulent entry is punishable by a permanent ban. I was told this when I asked about my status on some immgration board. I actually spent about 20 minutes trying to find it and then gave up. But it had some people on this board on it.

Okay found the thread I made hopefully it will be help to people in our situation: http://immigrate2us.net/forum/showth...ll-I-be-banned

No problem.

I just read your thread on the other forum. Have you consulted with an immigration lawyer since you last posted on that forum?
