I am currently a 3rd year economics major at one of the UC.
My question is anyone got a full-ride to any graduate program?
I am interested in PhD in economics or Masters in accounting and I found top programs that offers need-blind and merit-based but I have to contact the admission because most of them require FAFSA.
I am only sure about University of Chicago that they do give full-ride to undocumented students.
Anybody in the same shoes? or any advice?

This is the sort of thing Google is very helpful for.
In all honesty, you can only help yourself in situations like these.
All you can do is search the schools of your choice and look up their specific policies.

If you find out anything, please keep us posted. I am also interested in that down the road.

Thanks. I didn't know what AB540 is and I had to look it up. Thing is, I am a visa overstayer and I haven't done any high school in the US.

Is there a chance for me to get in-state tuition for California schools?

I believe these full scholarships are more common at the undegrad level. For Master students, these scholarships are pretty rare unless you are really talented. Otherwise, they tend to reserve most of the funding for their PhD students.

PhD "full rides" tend to include funding from various sources that may or may not be government money, which would probably put obstacles to students like us. Also, these scholarships include your ability to be able to work as a TA which means you'd need work authorization.

Yeah, I would be interested in a grad program. Really without the ability to work as a TA, I would imagine your hands would be tied.
