State of the Union

This is a thread to discuss the state of the union speech by President Barack Obama. He is expected to talk about spending and other issues. The most important issue to us is, of course, immigration and he is expected to talk about it because of his meeting with the Hispanic Caucus back in December after the failure of the Dream Act.

Update: McCain was on John King's CNN program and he was asked about the Dream Act. He talked about securing the border first. Let's see what happens.

He does talk about dreamers before he makes the statement about illegal immigration.

Wow, who would have that thought that this State of the Union speech would be EXACTLY THE SAME as EVERY OTHER PREVIOUS SPEECH?!
