i know this is not relevant, but im writing this for some advices you can give me. Someone owes me money about a $1000. I would call him and leave messages on his voicemail but he wont return any of my calls. I would try different ways to call him but when he picks up and finds out it was me calling, he would act like he was sick or something just to avoid talking to me. And sometimes, he would pick up then if he found it was me, he would hang up on me. Also, he would tell me that he aint got money to pay me yet and would promise that he'll pay me back. Aside from this, i know where he lives but i just dont wanna cause any physical or emotional interruptions to his family and neighborhood. To be honest, I get mad when he hangs up on me or doesn't let me know why he is not paying me back. Sometimes, i feel like coming over to his house and bust his ass 0ut, but i know that would put me in trouble for physical harassment. Even though he is old, i would still bust his ass and wont show any remorse for doing it. Bydaway, i issued him a check and lent him wit some cash. In exchange, he gave me a check wit his signature on it, but he said that time dont deposit it because he doesnt have anythng in there yet. Up to now, i still have his check and thinking about what to do with it. Should i deposit or not? So in what other ways i can get my money from him. Any help here?

do u guys have a written loan agreement? It's hard to get your money back, especially with cash since there's no proof.

I would try not to do him any harm because then the authorities might get involved. Though intimidation is a whole nother ball park.

Tell us more about the situation.
Why did you loan him money in the first place?
How old is he?
Who does he live with? Parents?

What would happen if you cashed the check? Where I live hot checks can lead to jail time.
