I got in a fight 2 weeks ago, and I got punched real hard on the chest, I took the punch as a macho that I am (I now regret it) and did not move a single step back when I was hit. Now I can't enjoy life 'cuz I can't laugh, I can't cough or sneeze either 'cuz it hurts a lot. I'm thinking of going to the doctor, but I am waiting it out to see if the pain lessens. Anyone with any insight, should I wait or should I go, or should I punch myself again to see if the pain goes away?

Since you said you are in a lot of pain when you laugh/sneeze/cough, most likely you do have some fractures ribs, but not broken. I would go to the doctor to get some xrays, there really isnt much they can do if they are fractured...just give you pain medication. I would get it checked out, especially if you show signs of having issues breathing. Good Luck

OMG;; I am surprised to see how you haven't gone to the doctor yet... Please go to the doctor or hospital first and you can deal with other problems (I know what you are worried about) later. Saving your own life is more important than anything. Internal damage is never as simple as you think!!! Just go to the doctor!!!

Doc said everything's fine, and gave me some painkillers, I'll try to avoid fighting even more from now on.
