OK movie. The solution is horrible and the guy doesn't seem to have a grasp of economics and attacks the Federal Reserve like it's a conspiracy. The Federal Reserve has been doing a good job during the past few years. Also the 9/11 conspiracy /inside job thing made me lol.

I also lol'ed when he complained that the Federal reserve was reducing the money supply during the Depression.

So you want more money from a movie that's advocating that we should do away with currency?

Sorry, but it's like that in every country. More money gives you more resources which in turn gives you an advantage in life.

yea...some things in the movie seemed pretty over the top....but it does make you question tho....for me the first part about religion was the best....then the 9/11 part was pretty interesting...it made me question....about the economy being controlled...wasnt too believable...but it still made me question.

1. The fact is that you can't change anything about the reality that you are living; all the major decisions are being made by people completely removed from your bubble of influence.
2. Trying to spread your awareness will label you as an anarchist/lunatic/paranoid/Alex Jones follower; if anything it will only get worse for you.
3. Despite having it "so bad" you are still enjoying your "freedoms" and access to this sort of information.
4. Living in America means you support American Imperialism; you may scoff at the ways in which the resources gathered to support your lifestyle and those of other 300.x million people are done, but you still pay your taxes, you support the system in place.

There won't be any wake up calls. Americans and pretty much the rest of the industrialized world are absorbed in the realm of entertainment and information. As long as the nations that do all the work for us allow this bullying to continue the abuses will continue.

It's not like this is something new. A small portion of the population always controls the rest and people are generally OK with this because most people NEED to be led and as long as everyone's basic needs and some wants are fulfilled everyone will get to enjoy the sort of peace that we have right now. Yep, some people have it bad, but it's the same everywhere.

As disgusting as it may sound, government staged terrorist attacks and unjustifiably beating the crap out of other nations is necessary if you want to boost your resources and sense of nationalism. Governments somehow have to keep up with the ever increasing population, you see it in nature in the form of animals killing other animals to expand their territories.

If you want to stop looking at the top people with scorn and envy you should aim to become one of them because this is how it always will be. Even if we reached the point in history where there no longer were international political boundaries people would still fight for a better place for themselves. It's in everyone's nature to want more because by logic we are aware that having greater access to resources means at a subconscious level expending less energy to keep oneself alive, and at a conscious level not having to feel fatigued and having more time to fulfill our wants.

Both the the rich and poor may have their concerns but not having to worry about not being able to pay your mortgages, gas, and all this basic shit is much better. Become one of those "assholes" and you won't have to worry about the mundane crap that haunts us.

edit: the other cooler extreme is completely removing yourself from the rat race and joining an intentional community, it's a very basic lifestyle but just as fulfilling, depending on how complicated you want to make your life of course.

I've seen this before. Extremely biased film. It's ok, I'm not buying all of it even though it does make you question, my answer is... Why?

First off it's the Federal Reserve, which isn't run by the government. Second I have no idea what you meant with that sentence. I don't think you understand what the Federal Reserve does...
