I got my Canadian study permit approved today, and the best thing is that i didnt have to do an interview at the embassy. I encourage people to apply for a study permit in a different country if you have the opportunity, we cannot wait forever.

Best luck to all of you.

Can you elaborate on the process? I'm actually kind of interested in this.

1) Have some money, at least $10,000 ( canadian dollars) in a saving account ( you are gonna have to show them you have financial support when you apply for the study permit)
2) look for a school and apply
3)if you get accepted to the school of your choice, apply for the study permit
4)fill the study permit application (DO NOT LIE ABOUT YOUR STATUS or anything)
5) wait and hope for the best.

Ah, thanks for the reply. Can you work once in Canada? As in during the time you are going to school?

So did you do all of the from inside the US? &Which country are you originally from? I'm thinking that probably matters.

I was really considering this too.
