Military Officer option

Hi, if there is anyone who knows how to enlist as an officer in the army please PM me
Please do not reply saying you have to have a green card at least sort of thing.

Well, to be an officer in the US Military you have to be a US citizen, so forget about doing it as an undocumented.

And you don't enlist as an officer, you enlist as an enlisted private.

You can go to OCS, which takes a couple of months, and start as an officer, but the citizenship requirement still applies.

It is correct that you don't need a green card.

You need full citizenship...plus officers don't enlist. They get a commission from the President. Someone needs to read up on this stuff.

You have to have a GC to join the military.

I don't know about the army but I spoke to an air force recruit once and he said I would need a green card or citizenship. Go to a recruiter and ask what you would need to join. They won't turn you away or anything, they get paid to try and get as many people as they can. Something else that may or may not help. In order to go to any of the military academies in the states you can go if you have permission from the government of your country. I think it said I needed a letter from a magistrate or something like that, the only thing is that they have a limited number of spots open yearly to immigrants.

I can't believe they would turn down someone just because of their status, but oh well, those are the rules. I can't wait till this is all over so we can all do something productive with our lives. Stay strong guys.

I figured that an 'A number" is all you need to enlist...
