Moving to NM - anyone there?

Just wondering if I can get some advice on a cool place to live in Albuquerque? I'm looking for something near some hip bars and points of interest for mid 20-year-olds, paved bike trails or near a metro (since i don't drive) and what not. My price range is $500-$700 a month. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! Also, let me know if you live there or something, my priority isn't with a roommate but I might be willing to try it if you're the right person.
