New Moderator Elections!!!! Who is your candidate?

It's no secret we need more moderators do to the recent outbreak of homophobic slurs, spam and hateful racism by IUF members also known as "IL" - illegal legion ( a radical group of dreamers who have now gone into hiding)...

It would be a great idea to nominate moderators and help the site administrators choose the correct candidate..

Many have nominated Thecure

Thecure seems like a good choice but I am worried on his policies regarding DA User..

Basically I want a liberal candidate who is both pro trolling and image baiting as well as very lenient on heated discussions.

I'm also afraid our basic freedoms to speak openly and objectively could be taken away with a conservative hardliner moderator...

We also need to know the candidates position on famous DAP users and on extremist cyber terrorist groups such as IUF AKA IL ( responsible for the recent attacks on DAP) ..

We need to secure DAP from future infiltrations. My vote is going to go to the candidate who promises and carries out a plan to safeguard this website from viruses, spambots, and trolls. I suggest a Compromise with IUF as they are our own kind. They have just stepped on the wrong path and it is our duty to bring them back on course.

To the people calling IUF out, We are not terrorist group nor a cyber bullying group. We are a group of dreamers who want the DREAM Act passed, we communicate using Skype on a daily basis to check up on other dreamers and provide counseling to some of them. Just because a troll puts IUF on his sig doesn't make the whole IUF a troll group.

Lifedreamer you have to seriously hop off IUF's balls, just because you got kicked and some IUF guy busted you for having alter egos on DAP such as Happyzoey doesn't mean the whole group is a bunch of "terrorist".

I am here today to announce that I am a candidate for the post of moderator of this site. I believe that after being a veteran member of this site for over 3 years, I have the knowledge and experience needed to moderate. From the days of K-Man and juang I have seen it all on this site. My
advocacy points speaks for it's about my contribution and dedication to this site. For over a year I was the lead contributor of the "What is the status of the Dream Act" thread http://dreamact.info/forum/showthrea...tatus+of+dream which kept members of this site constantly undated on the Dream Act even when it was not on the political front burner. So please select me to be your next moderator.

A good moderator should:
-believe in equal rights for all people regardless of country of origin, educational level, religion, sexual orientation, physical appearance, disability etc.
-Be available to delete hateful/ harassing posts.
-Give 2 warnings on hateful comments/threads and then ban.
-Be a good investigator.

That's all. Even though it's most likely that there won;t be a moderator election and this issue will go by with no resolution, I thought I'd put my 2 cents in. iANUS sounds like a very good choice imo
