I'm applying to grad school this fall (I'm scared to death). I'm going for a PhD in molecular biology. Does anyone know of any schools that give you a free full ride in the sciences? My plan is to start emailing all my dream schools this week to ask if they offer financial help to undocumented students. Is anyone applying to graduate school this fall too? I would love to start a support group for people applying this fall. We can all exchange info and help each other with our applications. I'm dreading the application process because it's just such a huge slap in the face reminder of my status.
I have good stats. I graduated from a UC a couple of years ago. Then I got a job working as a lab tech to get more experience. I got myself on a couple of publications. I'm expecting great letters of recommendation. My application process would go very smoothly if it wasn't for my status.
Can anyone offer me any advice as I go through this process? Also, message me if you are applying to grad school this fall and want to help each other out.
