So let's say I leave this country, but I change my legal name and applied for a work visa or tourist visa. Do you think I can come back that way?

We are talking you risking NEVER EVER EVER being allowed into the USA if they find out you changed your name and tried to get in.

Yeah but you never answered my question. Let's say my name was Jane Smith but I changed it to Eva Green. Will they give me a visa?

Besides, the USA sucks right now. I'm working in a "dream job" right after graduation but it's not really my dream. I should feel fulfilled and grateful for this opportunity but I'm having second thoughts.

I felt that going back to my country will allow me to do what I truly wanted to do in the first place.

Wouldn't they still look into your past? It's not like you're getting a new identity. It's just your name that has changed.

depends on whether you're an overstay or not. Overstays are most definitely in the system and changing your name will trigger all kinds of red lights.

The U.S. immigration law is broken, but not stupid. They will do all kind of checks on you which include school record, criminal record, etc.... They are going to find out, don't do it.

Well, I'm happy but it's not what I really wanna do... It's certainly better than a shitty food service job but I just feel that it'll be more stimulating to be elsewhere. I'm from an Asian country.
