Do you guys think it could ever happen

Its seems like the dream act is dead this year and most likely next year too. Like some states have mini dream acts that let you go to college do you think that there could be something similar for the military? Its really killing me that i cant join and my life is just wasting away!

I know how this feels.

Take a little heart in the fact that throughout history there have been many groups of people in dire situations and they have come out of it. If you need a little inspiration perhaps watch The Pianist and Schindler's List. It will get better so in the meanwhile expand your mind and your life will not be wasted.

If Repubes still hold majority in house, it's not going to happen..Im very sorry to say this.

Dream Act is far from dead. We recently had a DA bill in the Senate. Also, the new DHS policy for low and high priority removal cases. I think after the 300,000 some cases are resolved then DA will take center stage.

There is also the E-Verify bargain which means DA has a very good chance of passing this year.

We have got to keep the hope alive. We have come this far and now we are almost to the finish line.

Stuff has been happening lately for the Dreamers though.

Thank you for keeping our hopes up. We just have to encourage each other and keep on going. I also believe/feel that something good is about to happen soon.

I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of months, and DA User, I know you get a lot of crap for it, but I really admire your positive attitude.

The DREAM Act is my only hope right now.
