Hey guys. I've been visiting DAP for a long time now.

I am 25 years old. I came to the states when I was 11 on a tourist visa and overstayed.
My parents tried to fix our legal status through asylum, but it got denied. We got our order of deportation back in 2002.

I very recently got married, to an USC. We dated for over 4 years, and we cannot imagine life without each other.

I moved to Colorado last year, and we've been living here since. My family is still in FL.
I want to visit them, and I'm considering buying an airplane ticket. I got a valid WA license. I also have a valid passport with no visa.

I will most likely be flying out of DIA, and using my WA DL as my ID. I have not been on an airplane since I was 11. I've been reading all the threads of undocumented people flying, but I have not found any of people using their WA DL without problems.

And also I want to know if anyone here who also have a deportation order have been flying using their passport or WA DL without any problems.

Thank you and hopefully some of you can share their stories with me.

Seems reasonable, actually, but it'd require him to have kept his address on file, something that isn't as likely.

I'm pretty sure the new policy does not affect my case, unfortunately.

As far as being married to a USC, it can fix my status, but it's a much larger and tedious process, because I have to go to court and attempt to get my parent's old case closed (which the deportation order comes from). I need a really good lawyer to take the case and it'll turn out to be very costly. I plan on going through all this hopefully early next year.
I personally know of two women who had the same exact case as me, deportation from their parent's denied asylum case. They both now have GC, but it took them almost 2 years to go through the whole thing, from getting the case closed to filing for GC through marriage.

>>> I still haven't gotten any replies to whether anyone has been able to fly domestic without issues with their WA DL. Or of anyone with deportation order or any deportation status flying with valid passport.

Best of luck to you! It's great that you have an opportunity.

You should have no issues with a WA DL or ID. You might with a foreign passport given that you have a deportation order.
