Don't be disheartened, I graduated college when I was almost 24. Theres not much physical difference between people in the 20s and mid 30s, then age starts to show.

I am 25. With the exception of straight out of high school students, everyone else seems to look the same age.

Gah, I know! I still can't believe times flies that fast. 4 years since graduating H.S.....

I'll admit, normally thinking about how far I've fallen behind from the rest of my High School graduating class depresses me, especially now that I'm sitting this semester out because I can't afford it, but I'm not letting it. I have my eye on the prize. I will get my education regardless of how old I am when I complete it. It's a promise I made to myself.

Yep, you're pretty damn old. Nearly expired status. All your friends are graduating soon and you're not. Man, you're a failure. Shake my head. What a disappointment to the world.

I'm from class of '04, and am barely on Organic Chemistry and Calc II. What's that, a sophomore? There's a few 40-50+ year olds in my classes, and I really admire and look up to them, even though they don't know it. No one knows if a graduating classmate of yours will die in an accident, like one of mine did. I'm sure she'd have gladly traded places with me. As long as you get there. Society makes one believe that there's some type of deadline, that must be met when pursuing a degree, when there really isn't. And I'm sure you're smart enough to tell that I was kidding above.

Average age to graduate college is 28. Youll see it when you start college. Most will be older.

I'm 21 and freshman too! Those 3 years I've spent after graduating high school enabled me to save enough to fund my own education and buy a house though... Not many of those youngsters can say the same! :P Be proud.
