How are your finances? Advertising properly can get expensive. Think TV, Radio, Yellow Pages, telemarketers, online (adwords, pay per click, your own site, etc).

If you just started your own business, my recommendation is to start Networking instead. It is a lot less expensive than advertising, and you'd be surprised at amount of business you can get through word of mouth referrals.

I can tell you it works. When I started my business, I didn't pay to do any (read: Zero) advertising for the first two years. The only business I got was through word of mouth and referrals. I would spend a lot of times networking with other business owners and asking my existing customers for referrals. They just kept coming and allowed me to grow my business a lot. All of this without investing and spending a lot of money.

Look online for business networking groups - depending on your type of business. Find out what your ideal customer is and try to visit networking groups that your ideal customer would frequent. Also, try to make business relationships with what I call "Power Partners." These are people that service the same type of customer you service but that don't compete with your services. You can refer him or her business, and they can refer you business.

There are many networking opportunities out there. You just have to know where to look - Local chambers of commerce, specialized groups (depending on your field), Exclusive Groups (like Business Network International w w w dot bni dot com), etc, etc.

If you are completely new to this concept of networking. Try to visit a few groups and look for someone that has done it before and that does it good, and Try to tag along to other networking events(people that network are usually very friendly). You can also go to your local bookstore and purchase books about business networking.

Buisness ideas can be advertised in Tv, Magazines, Radio, Newspapers etc. These are major tools of advertising to promote a business and are very useful. Every second buasiness is using these strategies in order to promote its product and services.

Weblink changing has gone a bit out of style of delayed, but it can existing a very useful way to get visitors to your web page. The no cost willy-nilly changing of hyperlinks was very well-known a few decades ago.
