So I just landed a pretty awesome job. I got through the background check pretty ok EXCEPT for the SSN of course. I'm already working at the job actually but they now want a letter from the SS office saying that my SSN is valid... is there anyone who was asked this or anyone knows how to get it around it perhaps? If you know what I mean?

Or that he can't get a letter, which is possible. If you lost your Social Security card and don't have a verification letter, you're out of luck trying to get someone at an office to send you a replacement unless you have an EAD.
