We all know that not all places take Student ID as a form of ID.

I never use mine considering it has no birth date or anything except for my name and picture.

Are all of them like that though?

What do yours have on it?

Mine also has an expiration date. No DOB or anything like that.

No DOB. But, I haven't encountered a place that doesn't accept it as an ID. Of course bars not included.

DOB for undergrads. Makes it easier to know who to check for liquor stuff.

No DOB on student ID cards. You have to use your passport to get into clubs and stuff but obviously there's a risk of losing it.

Do you guys use your passport as an ID for everyday things? Like cigarettes, beer, etc?

I never have, mostly cause I don't smoke and not old enough to drink...but either way, here in AZ they have gotten really anal about Mexican ID's. My brother was turned down when buying alcohol because he used his passport as an ID and it wasn't on their stupid acceptable ID picture thingie...

Passport is considered a federal ID. It is as valid as an ID can get, on par with state IDs and Military IDs. I have used mine a thousand times by now and it has never gotten rejected, the only weird things I had happen was people looking through it a couple of times which was uncomfortable.

I use my passport for everyday things, I've never had a problem... I've yet to use it to fly domestically ( I am too scared) but I have friends who tell me they have used just their passport without even a visa on it and had zero issues flying recently so I may just try it.
