going to south korea with associate degree?

Hello guys so i am planning to go back to korea if the dream act doesn't pass by next year.. But I want to know if it is safe to go with just associate of art degree from a local community college.. The reason why I can't go to a 4 yr univ is because the tuition rate went up to 30% more and I can't get a job because no one would hire me.



My father went back to korea about 1 year ago and he has a stable job so if i go there i think he can support me. I could also work under him..


What do you guys think ?

tough on a 2 yr. art degree. I'd say you got about the same chance as a hS graduate, maybe if you've got some curating experience you could work at a museum or something.

but don't u think it is still better than getting minimum wage and starving in usa D

Sorry ro say this but an A.A. Degree is nothing, especially if its in arts.

I assume the public service sector or many government jobs are available.

They do not recognize your AA degree, nor your high school diploma.
They only recognize your bachelor's degree and up.

Legally, you have no formal education and you will have to start over by taking the local GED, which is 10 times harder than the US GED exam. The only possible benefit is that you may be exempt from the military service as one must have at least a high school diploma before being subject to the draft.

This is why you must have a bachelor's degree before returning.

It has everything to do with poor quality of US K-12 education.

The irony is that a Chinese high school diploma would be accepted automatically as locally equivalent and a Japanese high school diploma will be accepted if you apply for equivalency, but not the US high school diplomas.

No exception to this ban, even if you are a movie star or a world famous idol singer as this happened to many stars.
