January, 24 2012, David Rivera (R-FL) introduced Republican version of Military-Only Dream Act known as H.R. 3823: Adjusted Residency for Military Service Act

Those who graduated from US high school and came to US at under the age of 16 and under 30 years old currently may file for temporary residency and they must join the military within 9 months for permanent residency.

I've got a bachelors in Accounting, I would love to join the Navy or the Air force. I've always been a technology savvy person. Would love to drive those drones.

I dont want to join the military. I am not going to kill myself because some racist moron general told me so. there are other ways to be patriotic and contribute to the society.

Why is it retarded? You should be kissing the sky.

Too bad Perry wasn't the nominee, you might have gotten the chance to see combat in Mexico

http://motherjones.com/kevin-drum/20...-invade-mexico

And by the way, you know they are gonna give you guys jobs like Latrine Sanitation Specialist or Potato Peeling Specialist, or perhaps the guy who drives around the jeep for the general. I think the hard core machine gunning jumping out of plane combat jobs are sufficiently staffed with rednecks. So I don't think you'll be seeing much combat.

This won't even come close to passing because it is not really a DREAM Act. It is a military bill plus the age requirement of 30 leaves many Dreamers out.

This would be perfect if they could attach STEM graduates to the mix. All republicans are doing is trying to attract the immigrant communities by introducing bullshit.

I hope that by now you see that the Dream Act will not pass as is.
