Right now in Florida, the Republican candidates for president are fighting
over who is the least anti-immigrant.

It's ridiculous. Mitt Romney flat-out said he would veto the DREAM Act, and
Newt Gingrich says he'll weaken it. They both want to gut the DREAM Act --> limiting its scope to only those who want to join the military.

I so disagree with Adam. He is not only condemning Romney and Gingrich, be he is also criticizing the bill introduced by Rep. Rivera.

Considering that Republican presidential candidates are speaking in favor of this path of legalization for us and even Marco Rubio is softening his stance on the DA, Rivera's bill might just gain momentum!!!!! Damn it, guys. I don't get it. We need to pressure for this opportunity, so we can come out of the shadows as soon as possible.

Sure, some of you might say that it is a tougher version. But, isn't Durbin's version getting tougher?

Adam is ruining it for some of us.

Another coward... I can't believe all these people. They're basically giving us something!!! and we choose to ignore and attack it. unbelievable.

Instead of renewing the battle he chose to keep beating the dead horse.

why do we need to pass both college and military parts in the same bill? let military part pass first and if college part doesn't pass later, it's still better than nothing

Hey, its like wanting sex but you get offered a handjob. It's better than going home without getting anything. And maybe in the future you get the whole thing. But then if you spit on the girl and send her home you'll never get anything.

Guys, it's an opportunity. I am not a warmonger, but I would enlist--even though I graduate in May.

Instead of pressuring for Rivera's bill to pass, we are criticizing it. The damn bill could gain momentum because the top Republican candidates support Rivera's bill and even Rubio is softening his stance! He is calling on Republicans to help us out.

We need to pressure for this to pass. It would bring us out of limbo. We have been waiting too long, and something is better than nothing,
