Lets play the Worst case scenario to see if you guys have a time table before going back to your home country.

Events of the worst case scenario in my opinion.

Obama came very to close lose 2012 election

president Obama promise to deliver dream act within 50 days of his second term.

GOP promise to stop Obama in his tracks — stop the stimulus, stop the financial bailout program, repeal the health care law, stop other spending, and to stop illegal immigration.

president Obama urged republicans and democrats to come together to an agreement on immigration.

U.S declares war on Iran, after Israel delivered several airstrikes against Iran nuclear sites.

The U.S. Economy Takes Another Hit As Oil Prices Stay High.

Unemployment hits record high in the history of the united states.

The majority of the state passes several Draconian anti-immigrant laws.
The public no longer sees immigration reform as a good thing.
Obama fail to deliver comprehensive immigration reform during his presidency.

Republicans win both houses and the white house

republicans vow to kick every illegal out of America.

25 years later after the dream act was first introduced, democrats and are finally coming to a compromise.but they are still debating whether to raise the age limit to 45 years.

two years is my time table if nothing happen by then I going back to my home country .

I graduate in 2013 but I'll stick around an extra year. After that it's "thanks for my public education. Peace"

Hopefully I can then apply to get my Master's in Canada.

Well, if Obama intends to keep his promise to make the Dream Act the law of the land by the end of his first term, DA needs to pass by May/June. Why? Because the DA in its current version requires that regulations be published for public notice and allowed a period for public comment. After this, the regulations are subject to change and revision.

So, if you count the periods of "recess" that lawmakers get during the calendar year; the most likely time for it to pass should be May/June.

He can't make laws by himself. That's the purpose of the legislative branch.

True, however its currency value is greater than all of our countries. Although the society here is way too secular and focused on "having fun." I hate it in school when the teacher brings up stuff like "what did you guys do over the weekend/break/whatever." And some kids would say stuff like "I went to INSERT-NAME-OF-PLACE with a goddam smile. Maybe i'm jealous some of them go to a fkin vacation every year (they rarely deserve it).

Worst case scenario (assuming I finish college at least):

I go back to my country

Get tons of job offers

Become rich

Marry a nice girl

Get to travel to where ever I want besides the US
