Here's some decent news. Take it with a grain of salt since it's from Fox News Latino.

Quote:
A new poll shows that an overwhelming majority of Latinos support the Dream Act. And although this is not surprising, 90% of any demographic supporting a proposed policy sends a message. Yet, I don't see this to be the crux of the story.

The poll also showed that 66% of all registered voters support giving undocumented immigrants the latitude to remain in the country and eventually qualify for citizenship on the condition that they meet requirements including learning English, paying back taxes, and pass background checks. Even more surprising, 57% of Republicans surveyed in the December poll supported a path to citizenship under the same requirements.

The question that GOP strategists should be asking themselves is when they will make their move to break away from the hard rightwing segment of their party that has been dictating to them which immigration policies to accept and which to ignore. Clearly, Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has taken a page out of FAIR's book on immigration reform. Perhaps Romney should evolve on the immigration issue; it couldn't hurt his favorability ratings with Latinos. - Source
The poll in question is this.

Yea it is. but I doubt senators actually care... they abuse their powers representing their own beliefs.

They care but it does come down who keeps power in the upcoming elections. Both parties want credit for DA.

I could tell you this, without doubt, in my sleep. It's one of those "No sh*t sherlock."
