Hello everyone!!! I just heard the awesome news!!! Thank you Mr. President!!!

Ok I have TPS because I'm Haitian but I'm so esstatic that now this that qualify can work! I know for a fact now that your lives will forever change!! So what you can't get financial aid!!! You can work!! OMG I'm in tears!!! You can get an ID, open a bank account, have a SS and not be afraid of deportation!!! Did I mention how happy I am??? This is great!!! In 60 days!!! Dreams do come true and this is the beginning of your new life!!! I've been fearless ever since I got my work authorization a yrs ago because of the Haiti Earthquake. I know how y'all are feeling. There will be paperwork, fees and fingerprints!! Whatever you do... DON't Apply for a travel document unless it says that you won't be barred from adjusting status!!! Don't do it!! The fine print states that it will trigger a 3-10 yrs bar from adjusting status. I'm happy for your new life because you won't live in fear anymore!!! Congrats to those that qualify and those that are over 30... Your day Will come. Rejoice for those that do have a chance! CHEERS!!!

Thank you!

Can you please tell us more about this "travel document?"

What is that and who, when do they ask us to sign up for that?

We want to know exactly what it is so that we're sure to keep it in mind and avoid it..

It's the I-131 form on USCIS. I looked into it because I wanted to go see my mom. Many have been approved and used it but it specifically says that if you were present in the US unlawfully for more than 180 days (which many of us are) you may be barred from adjusting status in the future. I don't trust this firm. It can and will be used against you. It's not worth the risk! I say work legally and appreciate the oppurtunity to without fear but don't travel UNLESS a new I-131 is created for you to travel under this deferred status. Being able to work legally is hitting the jackpot!!!

The only thing you won't be able to do is travel and get financial aid. SO WHAT???!!! Paying taxes without fmear feels great lol

Travel meaning outside of the U.S.? If so, we MUST stay away from I-131.

I saw a few posts asking whether we'll be able to travel outside the U.S., That is the least thing I would want to do with this permit/deferred action, I would like to visit the Grand Canyon though!! Anyways thank you.

Yes outside!!! You can travel to US territory with an Employment Authorization or State ID! Don't take any flight to Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands that stop in any other countries. I'm lucky to have a job that pays me to travel to other states. I know. My work authorization card says "not allowed for re-entry" but I travel to other states. I have to re new every year. You guys will re-new every 2yrs!! Another good thing!!! It's expensive for me. I pay over $500 in application fees. It took me 3 months to get my first documents.
