i have a question about driving without a dl, does that count as a misdemeanor? and will that disqualify you to get deferred action?

That does count as a misdemeanor, but I heard from somebody here that
the DHS will not count that as an offenses. Don't mark my words though/

it depends on which state you got the ticket in. They all vary. Check your state laws for the answer to this question, it might turn out that you don't even have a misdemeanor at all, it could have been knocked down to an infraction.

^^^I read that also. Driving w/o L's usually counts as a misdemeanor but can be lessened to an infraction. As long as you weren't busted over 3 xs you are in the safe zone and shouldn't worry. Over... Well don't stress too much and just wait until there is more info. There is still so much uncertainty. To be honest though, as long as one doesn't pose as a danger they should be okay. God knows America has its share of scary ass criminals. That's like a minor traffic ticket right there. They have bigger fish to fry up.
