If you have a passport with stamp, hs/college transcript, or anything that shows that you've been here the past five years that should be enough. From the amount of information I have gathered from everyone including all the paranoia, you shouldn't worry too much about this.

I only did the notary part due to the heavy volume of people advising it, but as far as I am concerned as-well-as the majority of comments I have read you don't even need it.

First of all if you have a passport and a visa overstay you could not have left the country without having your passport inspected and I94 taken. That in itself contains information about your continuous presence in the US, and all you have to prove is your educational background.

If you are an EWI there is no way in hell people would think you crossed that border to go back to South America. Even more so facebook, twitter, or any other social network can prove your whereabouts. You have hs/college transcripts what else would they need? I'm sure all of you have gym/bank/cellphone/people that can prove that you were here on the 15th.

Please guys I'm getting more paranoid reading about a lot of post, and second guessing about my situation when I know dam well I have checked off every single bullet point on the announcement due to the heavy paranoia I've been reading.

I don't think I have the documents...

I qualify but I don't have the documents to prove it. No school transcripts for the last 2 years. Maybe phone records, will have to dig.

Sucks. But let's see how it pans out.

Let's see what the final process is after the 60 days guys...I know it is difficult but none of us should be paranoid yet!! They haven't released a process yet....I am sure that they are taking into consideration every possible situation a dreamer could be in. The age gap is significant enough to, I believe, guarantee a wide range of accepted documentation. For example a 16 year old is not going to have the same type of documents that a 30 year old may have such as college transcripts or even a bank account in some cases.....so please please pleeeeeeeease let's all try to be calm

people relax pls...and do not try to hire a lawyer or spend a sum of money on someone promising you an application etc. I am in DFW (dallas/fort worth) area and already listen to ads in Asian radio where lawyers are telling to come by and we will get your application started. How can they promise something if the DHS has not implemented the guidelines. SO PLS RELAX. you will just spend a consulting fee of $100-$300 and they will tie you up with a contract with a down payment. Due Diligence everyone.

I had paranoia at first but i feel confident after seeing what I have that I can use to show i was here. Im an overstay and I have my passport valid, middles school, elementary, high school and college transcripts, also i have medical record such as immunizations records ,dentist, and some bills. People don't stress out to much just try to find and gather your paper work...

lol I know what you mean, reading some of the stuff here is making me a little paranoid too, the best thing to do is stay away and just wait for more details. In the meantime gather anything that can prove your presence and identity.

From the last DHS conference call that took place which included directors and assistant directors of ICE, USCIS, CBP, etc., they are being relatively lenient on the requirements. As long as the documents demonstrate that you where around in the US that time and where present here when the announcement was made which your presence making the petition should sort of be sufficient, they will accept it.

If you have proof that you attended high school before the 5 years that is good.

DHS, and all the relevant organizations, during all the conference calls, they have been warning heavily to be careful of fraud that may surface, and will surface.

Notario fraud is what you are looking at, and there is a hotline for ICE where you can report those fraud cases. There is no process open and anyone saying that you can start an application is committing fraud.

The only people that can apply are those currently in deportation proceedings and there is a number for them to call, and this is through ICE.
