Does anyone else here get chills/the shudders or just a general pseudo-orgasm when you re-watch Obama's announcement of the new policy? It's a bit weird, but I do. ^.^ I mean the POTUS just personally shielded each and every Dreamer under 30, if they meet some pretty lax requirements.

I don't know about everyone else, but I feel empowered and utterly special. Lol. I now have mad bro love for Obama. Whether his move was political not, he took a risk on us. I will never forget.

Definitely smiled throughout most of his speech.. which sort of vanished pretty quickly thanks to that stupid reporter

Damn Irishman wants to call us "foreigners" when I've been in this country nine years before he got hitched to a USC.... but I digress

Not homo at all.

Take a moment to realize the gravity of movement movement of which you are intrinsically a part. Note how it how has grown and garnered the attention of the nation's ranking leaders and law makers - how almost 100 law professors from around the country has written in our support. And especially take in how the President of the United States sternly stated "effective immediately, the Department of Homeland Security is taking steps to lift the shadow of deportation from these young people."

Maybe it's just me, but I feel special. Dreamers are markedly different from the beneficiaries of the 1980s amnesty. In the 80s the leaders of this nation recognized a growing problem and patched it up. In this era, Dreamers are at the forefront championing our own movement, and I love it!

I think about it every now and then. Life isn't gonna change much until I get approved for everything... and then.... haha! who knows. I might just explode.
