IANUS/TXGIRL:

It seems we'll be using I-765 for the work permit.

Can you guys upload a sample PDF showing us how to fill it out?

I've got everything down except questions 12-16.

12. date of last entry into the U.S

I think I'll just enter 1/1/88 since I don't know the exact date.

13. Place of last entry into the U.S

San Diego? (I'm Mexican)

14. Manner of last entry

EWI (Should I spell it out)

15. Current Immigration Status

Awarded Deferred Action?

16. Is it ------((c)(14)) ( ) ( )

OR

(c(14)) ( ) ( )

OR

(C) (14 ) ( )

TXGIRL: I read somewhere that you fill out I-765 forms all the time, that's why I hope you can guide EWIs like myself.

Thanks

I would be more then glad to do this but not until i am sure under what Eligibility Category we will need to file under.

12. date of last entry into the U.S

Get as close to the correct date as possible ask your parents im sure they would have an idea if you only know the month and year you will only put the month and year

13. Place of last entry into the U.S

The border US City you came in , for ex: Brownsville, TX , Laredo, TX ,

14. Manner of last entry

Yes spell it out, Entered Without inspection or if you came in with a visa B1/B2 Visa

15. Current Immigration Status

This we will not know until more instructions come from USCIS as to what will the application be call

16. Is it ------((c)(14)) ( ) ( )

We dont know untill further instructions from USCIS it could be C 14 or A 12 or who knows a whole new category.

Lets not get ahead of ourself and lets just wait for further instructions.

I think it's a good idea to start getting familiar with what we might be filling out so we can at least have an idea on what to do. I'm willing to bet that the day they come up with the process, the server will be down from all the traffic and/or they'll be a lot of threads all asking about the same thing.

Even if we do put instructions on how to fill those out now the threads asking the same things over and over are going to still appear.

12. date of last entry into the U.S

You should ask whomever facilitated entry what was the date or get as close to it as possible. It is quite important to give accurate whenever filling out any immigration paperwork.

13. Place of last entry into the U.S

If that is what you remember then you should place it.

14.Manner of last entry

Seems accurate if that is what you can remember

15. Current Immigration Status

Yes,You place Deferred action because that would be what the EAD is based on!

16. It is (C) (14 ) ( )

No problem.

This. Prepare the dreamact.info forum servers too.

And I say the same thing others have said: it's good to sit down and read through the current forms, but anything that seems unclear to you is just as unclear to the rest of us, including lawyers, who don't know what the exact procedure will be.

The dreamact.info server will definitely be under a heavy load but I don't foresee issues with ice's website. I am positive it has the capacity to handle heavy traffic volume.
