Omg. I'm so mad at my self atm...

my signature did not go through correctly w/ dream application for California...

I don't think I can get financial aid any more...

the priority deadline for my school was may 10th.

I started my app on April 4th, and cal dream act tells me now that they didn't get my app ...

I just sent email to financial aid office at my campus...

I provided my signature and even received confirmation page...

For those of you under 24, Did you guys have to provide your parent's signature?

I was classified dependent, but I thought I don't need my parent's signature be cause I'm 20.

Yea you had to provide the electronic signature. I didn't get a confirmation page until I completed that process for the application. Just see what response you get from your school... its basically august already so I'm not sure how late it is now for a response ><

I had a lot of issues with the application myself, fortunately I was able to 'submit' the application by the priority deadline (May 10) but the application itself was not yet "complete". After months of trying to get in contact with CSAC they finally picked up my call two weeks ago and was able to solve my issue. I asked the lady if; because I was just now finally completing my application would my school, just now be getting my information and she said that no, that my school has had all my information since I first submitted the application but they were just withholding my information because my application was not complete.

Basically, if you applied already your school should have all your info even if you were un able to submit your 'signature' when you completed the application. As far as I understand it shouldn't affect you. Good luck!

From what I noticed when I did my Application. That one from CSAC is only to see if you qualify and only gives an estimation of what your $ amount will be if you qualify. In other words this isnt really the application for financial aid this is just an estimate. check with your school to see what the procedings are and when it should all be done. As for my school they told me I qualify for the bog waiver and to come after a certain time to see if the real applications are available yet.
