Considering deferred action and being able to work and whatever, are any of you changing majors, or rethinking your potential careers????

I've been thinking about going back to school for a JD/MBA or a JD/MSF degree. Not sure if the MSF will add as much to the JD degree as an MBA will, but it'd definitely prepare me more for a CFA certification.

OP what are you rethinking? At first i have always wanted to do a music major but i knew i didn't stand a chance on getting a job without documentation, but now it makes me want to try it. However physical therapy still is the better choice :P

I'm thinking of changing both school and major. Originally I thought about only getting an associates but now I'm thinking of getting a bachelors. In what though, I still don't know. I thought I did but I really don't lol.

It's really tough. There's lots of college graduates without jobs. A lot of people want experience :\.

It's not that tough if you get a valuable degree.

It's not that hard if you are willing to work. There are jobs out there. People are just too picky these days.

Agreed. A lot of high caliber firms are reporting lack of necessary skills in the applications they receive. If you work hard throughout your undergrad and get a decent internship, you should be ahead of the pack in your job search.

I am thinking about going into engineering. It might be that I go for civil/enviornmental or mechanical. It all depends what I will be able to enjoy the most, and i'm also think about choosing a science such as biochemistry or physics, again it depends what I will enjoy the most. Though physics is tempting with all the breakthroughs that are happening.

I plan on going back to school for DIGITAL MEDIA ARTS: ANIMATION. That will take 4 years in total to get a BA.
