It looks like the F1 category has moved a month faster from last month right?

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Dream Act. Hence I respectfully request this to be moved to the lounge section of the forum.

I'm in F-1, priority date is March 2007, which means it's in 1.5 years.

Going to see an attorney tomorrow about advance parole and whatnot.

Who made that rule? It's a "lounge". Everything is relevant. There are people asking about their love life on here even. There are many people on here including myself who have some sort of family sponsorship that they've been waiting for. In fact, my ship would have come in by now if the Visa Bulletin hadn't screwed me over by retrogressing itself by 2 years .

Not only that, if the Dream Act itself ever passes, there will be many dreamers who may have the chance to readjust their status who couldn't before due to sponsorships so as far as I'm concerned, anything that has to do with immigration is fair game on here.

If you want to be anal about it, Deferred Action doesn't have anything to do with the Dream Act either and all you 30 and under kids are blowing up the site about it :P

When did the lounge get so strict with thread topics?

It's called "kicking the ladder". Now that the majority of the group is getting their work permit, they no longer want to get bored by us mere mortals who don't have it and are bored by our petty immigration issues that aren't exactly dream act related.
