what if you have a job? Applying for work permit!

My gf has been working at T-mobile for the last 6 years.

Do we need to still prove hardship?

I don't really know how to go about getting her the work permit.

Ideas are very welcome!

If she's applying for deferred action, she also has to apply for the work permit. I personally think that just because she already has a job, it doesn't mean that she doesn't need a work permit. I mean seriously, would USCIS want thousands of people to keep working under the table when IRS wants their taxes? Just say something like.. you need an EAD to legally work at the place she's already working in, to pay taxes, and if you lose the job it will be hard for you to live.

Yeah I kind of figure the would rather have her paying her taxes and being legit.
I was worry that they might make a big deal about her working under the table.
