Hey guys,
I worked for about 3 years (2006-200 and I used my 12 year old brother's SSN as a part-time tutor at my church. For the work authorization application where it asks to put all the SSN used, for those of you who have filled your applications already and have had advice from a lawyer or been helped in regards to this question. Should I put my brother's SSN or just leave blank? Please help out. Thanx. Id really appreciate your help.

If it was your own SSN then you must include it.

I was told by my lawyer to not include it mine i worked for a year with a made up one, and I'm not including it. This is what she's advised her TPS clients to do the same.

Just include your social. Worst case scenario is that they check SSA database to confirm its yours.

yes. no fake. if it is legitimately yours, regardless of the "not valid for work" clause you MUST include it, because chances are you will keep that same number, the new one that you get wont have that on it.
