Did you guys put "DACA by ICE"

"Unlawful Status: DACA by ICE"

DACA by ICE?? If you were deferred by ICE. ie. your case derives from removal proceedings, a current case with ICE ie. get educated.

We discussed this and yet other folks kept telling people to put 'by ICE'. It'll probably give Dreamers a bit of a roadbump during the application process but there was a bit of misinformation the first week.

This comes straight out of the instructions from the I-765, page 5 section F: Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals-(c)(33)

"When completing the form I-765:
a: Enter "Unlawful Status: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals by ICE" for Question 15.
b: Enter (c)(33) in Question 16 as the letter and number of the category for which you are applying."

Is this for all of us?

I am wondering the same thing. I personally put "Unlawful status: DACA". I was hesitant about adding the "by ICE" for some reason... Hopefully they won't make a big deal out of it.

Yes but you're missing the important part

this is under Section F-2. "If US ICE differed action on your case, file....
a. Enter "unlawful status: deferred action for childhood arrival by ICE"

So if you've never dealt with ICE, don't put that you have.

Question 15: PENDING I-821D . That is all you should put.

I have "Visa overstay" since I arrived on B-1/B-2 back in the 90s
