For those who got your I797/Biometrics Appt

Hi! Since you guys got your I797 or Biometrics Appointment I believe you guys did your application correctly and is going in the right direction so I'm curious about your application package. I keep checking my email on my phone like practically every 5 minutes that my battery and I are gonna go crazy. Can you satisfy my curiosity and answer these questions, thank you!!!


A) Approximately how many pages was your package?
B) Did you use a folder or hole punched anything?
C) Was your application typed or handwritten?
D) Did you use a check or money order?
E) Did you send 2 passport photos?

My answers:

A) Around 30 pages
B) I used only 3 paperclips, one for the applications, one for the documents and one for statements.
C) Handwritten
D) Check
E) Yes

A) Approximately how many pages was your package?
Around 80-90 pages
B) Did you use a folder or hole punched anything?
Hole-punched (2 hole puncher up top) and paper clips
C) Was your application typed or handwritten?
Beside's the signatures, no I filled it out on adobe
D) Did you use a check or money order?
Money order, single
E) Did you send 2 passport photos?
Yes

A) Approximately how many pages was your package?
30-40 pages.

B) Did you use a folder or hole punched anything?
I 2 hole punched everything at the top (including applications) and I also used paper clips.

C) Was your application typed or handwritten?
Apart from the signature, everything was typed.

D) Did you use a check or money order?
1 money order.

E) Did you send 2 passport photos?
Yes.

I dont think it necessarily means that we did it right... don trust every word we say. Personally I think I did everything correctly. I read the instructions like 8 times. I had my parents look over it only...

A) Not more than 40
B) No folder no whole punch.. no clips... just for my photos. I didnt have clips so they gave me one at the post office.
c) I typed my application.
D) I used a money order. Just one.
E) Yes. I sent 2 passport photos... as instructed

I did not send in any passport photos. Where did it say to send in photos? FYI i got my i797 in the mail yesterday and hopefully i get my Bio Metrics appointment in today.

Thank you for your responses. Well from CVS you get two passport photos for 9.99 and each additional one was 25 cents so I ordered four extra, a total of six. I sent them two so I don't have to worry about it. I read the instructions umpteenth number of times and I'm sure I did everything right but the wait is killing me nevertheless.

B) Did you use a folder or hole punched anything? Nope, just three paperclips separating the 2 applications and evidences. (no cover page )
C) Was your application typed or handwritten? typed
D) Did you use a check or money order? 2 checks
E) Did you send 2 passport photos? Yea. Costco 4 for $4.99

Oh crap, i didnt send in my Passport fotos but i did send in a copy of my passport with my photo in it. I received the i-797C yesterday so hopefully everything is good. I have a feeling i might get a RFE for passport photos.... =/
