Now that we are going to have work permits...

My parents wants me to work and i would love to work in order to help them out. But i really want to go full time with school and graduate faster. It seems like my parents just wants me to drop school and just go full time.

Anyone here works part time and also a party time student? Is it stressful to do both?

I work part time maybe like 30 hrs a week. I also go to school part time. Nothing wrong with that. The best of both worlds...

I'm working 35+ hours a week while attending school full time and I feel like I'm losing hair because of all the stress man. It's just sooooooo stressful.

You could try to work and do school. If it proves too stressful, cut back to part time. You’ll need to find what works for you. Especially if you're doing an accelerated program, need labs, etc.

If I’m able to receive my permit, I’ll do school full time while working. But I freelance in illustration. So it’s a bit different to things which require a set schedule.

work = make enough $ to last temporarily

school = more money for you later when you build your career.

Both. Stressful, yes, but it will pay off if you apply yourself and know what you want to study.

School first.

Tell your parents that instead you will help them later when you are making enough money for your help to actually make a significant difference.

If you go to school, it doesn't mean you are going to make money. There are a lot of people that don't go to school and make more money than people who actually do have a career. Its all about people taking risks. Check out my quote...
