What will happen if i send my packet....

today Friday 8/31/12 via USPS Express? Will there be an attempt to deliver tomorrow and then on Tuesday since Monday is a holiday? or should i just wait and mail it tomorrow?

Ur better off waiting till Tuesday just to be sure. I don't know if they're open Saturday's. I sent min on Saturday via USPS priority with a tracking number and I have yet to see any confirmation from either USPS or USCIS.

If I were you I would wait especially, especially since Monday is a holiday. Express would get it there the next day but what if noone is there to sign?

Whatever you choose make sure u make them sign when they receive. The extra money spent is definitely worth it. It will save you from constant worrying weather your package has been received.

I would suggest to wait until Tuesday!
I've sent mine last Friday. They attempted to deliver on the Saturday and, of course, there was nobody there to receive it. It was finally delivered on Monday (the 27th).
Anyway, it's an awful experience to keep looking at the tracking info to only see that they couldn't deliver it.

I would wait till either tomarrow or Tuesday. If you mail it tomorrow, USPS wont try to deliver it on Monday cause its a holiday. It will be delivered Tuesday. I would not mail it today cause they may try to deliver it tomorrow.
Also keep in mind that USPS tracking information sucks.

I sent mine on a Friday and it delivered on Saturday. I live here in Phoenix though. But I didn't pay for any express shipping since I knew it would get there on a saturday anyway. The address I sent it to was for a PO BOX. You know how on the list of all the lockboxes they list a PO BOX address and also an express address, I just chose the PO BOX since I knew nobody would be there to sign for it on saturday anyway. I could have waited till Monday but I decided not to. So far I've gotten the e-notifications and the letters in the mail saying that they have received my packet and nothing was sent back so that's good. I did include a thing for them to sign when I sent it, it cost like 70 cents. The overall charge was less than 6 dollars.

Send it tuesday.

send it tuesday, and check it multiple times. check that everything is spelled right, THAT YOU SIGNED BOTH APPLICATIONS, that you included passport pics, etc. good luckk

This might be a tough weekend because labor day is this Monday, and I'm sure they don't deliver then. I'd say wait until Tuesday like someone had said. Especially if you're paying Express, you want to make sure they deliver the next day.

Good question! I was going to mail mine out today but decided to check here and will now wait until Tuesday to make paying Express worth it.
