That is not likely, imo. If you have Deferred action approved you can and should be able to get an EAD because it is based on the status itself! I have never heard of an EAD being denied on someone with approved DA.

No. There is no appeals process I believe.

Yea I thought so too, having your EAD denied while they approved your DA makes the whole process pointless. Not only that, but we also had to send them both at the same time ( so it wasn't an optional thing ).

Now this should give everybody hope on this forum. So stop buggin out people. If you're approved for DA, the EAD will be yours.

Lol that's why it's better to ask questions in the morning when Ianus does his morning coffee browsing DAP session.

lmfao...got my coffee next to me as well. The following posters should be taken 100% seriously: Ianus, Buckminster, H3lett, greentea, immigration truth..and a few others I recognize when I see their names..better than any immigration lawyers out there. Any idea how long the time frame is between biometrics and approval????

No way to know at the moment. I think biometrics results usually take 2-3 weeks.I just read a thread on here of a person saying it should be "shorter than 90 days because i dont see what the holdup is"...I dont necessarily agree with this. The USCIS Processing Centers arent only handling EAD for daca, they handle a variety of cases of people requesting EAD (Just think about how long the instruction sheet was stating the different categories).

My understanding is that you have 30 days from the day your EAD was denied to make an appeal. Once you get deferred action getting a work permit is a different matter.
