I've been noticing a lot of people here write as if this chance is a given; it really isn't.

This is a realistic thread. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Just as people are getting their acceptances, others will be rejected.

What would you do if your application is rejected? will the elections have an effect on your decision?

If my application is rejected for some reason, then I would plan to stay here for a few more months. I would want to graduate from CC and get the hell out. The elections will have no effect on my decision.

I have several knives around my house ready to be used at given notice.

Nah jk, life is better in South Korea. I'm only here in America because its where I grew up. I think I'll just leave, but I would seriously doubt my application would be rejected. I would request a review of my application.

It would further encourage me to to live as normally as possible, but if Obama loses I am GTFO right after I obtain some credentials.

Let's not talk like that. I know the feeling though. Exhaust all options first. Good luck!

I don't know if it was Monday when they release the 40k apps received or today, but I read that they would issue RFE's to give you a chance and an NOID as last resort to allow you to reply to any concerns with your applications, although those are the only two administrative outlets for reprieve, I am surprise USCIS is being this lenient.
