Application on hold...

the lawyer i visited is holding my application and anyone else's with the same issue: we all have used a fake ss to work. I have used the same one since i started working at age 18 right after high school. well i also have a misdemeanor arrest (class A in NY) for a "fight" with my neighbor. The Certificate of disposition for that arrest states that i was cleared from any charge, and also that the case was sealed. According to the lawyer there should be no problem for that. i have been thinking of "DYI" on my application instead of waiting on the lawyer. with the complexity of my case i feel more confident if a lawyer filled it out. I guess that i am being impatient due to reading that some people have already been approved. my sister went to another lawyer where she lives which didnt really take in consideration that she's also worked with a fake SS... i feel that telling the truth would be the best thing to do . i would include the fake number used, also becuase it is on my W2 forms on my tax returns which i used as evidence. I filemy takes with my ITIN but the W2 show the fake ss number. I am crazy about going back to school, moving from this toubled town and possibly looking for a better job. All to give my family and our 6mo old daughter a better enviroment to grow upon. i am stuck... ... ..

talk to your lawyer. My lawyer wanted to hold my case for 2-3 weeks and when I told her that I wanted my package back so I can go to another lawyer she took care of it the next day

IDK about the misdemeanor but with your taxes don't send w-2s just go to an IRS office and get transcripts that only show your ITIN number. I did include the fake SSN used but thats just a matter of opinion I think... hope this helps

the misdemeanor is not such an issue as the fake ss for the lawyer. the case was dismissed and sealed where no one but of course a thorough background check can detect. Well thats what i think because my current job runs a background check and they wouldnt have given me the job if i had an arrest. and thats what they told me at the court when i picked up the certificate of disposition for the arrest. Well anyways ill wait on her like i said the fact that she will sign will make me feel better... thanks!
no matter what i will include the ss number that i have used that does not belong to me....
