I like where I'm working now. Am I going to have trouble walking in to HR and "updating" my info???

Anybody have any previous experience with this???

Though not often, people do get new numbers due to name change etc. As long as you can prove your new number with a valid card. I would think you should be fine.

If not, you got two options: look for a new job to start fresh or keep going as is.

same issue for me. in my case i will be looking for another job. i dont think they will arrest you but it might be an issue for them since we lied in the application if we stated and sign that you were legally able to work in the usa. it might just depend on your relationship with the HR office and if they are willing to accept the change in your status... i have a very good relationship with them but i would still feel funny about telling them the truth and worrying about them letting me go.

I'm thinking of just staying w my old info until I figure it out. Also, since I work thru an agency mate I can fill out an application thru the company I work for.... But they're very picky and I don't know if there are restrictions with EAD hiring.

Hopefully someone on here has had experience in this?? Or knows someone who works in a HR?
